On September 3, Russia's Rosatom Fuel Division completed assembly of its 30th industrial metal 3D printer (RusMelt 300M), coinciding with TVEL's 30th anniversary. The product line includes seven models covering SLM, DMD, and EBAM technologies. Compared to just 3 units planned in 2023 and a cumulative 13 by end of 2025, reaching the 30th unit marks a shift from engineering prototypes to stable industrial production. Rosatom has developed its own printers, metal powders, and software in-house; the competitive dynamics between its self-produced powder systems and domestically sourced powders merit close monitoring.
