TA15 (Ti-6.5Al-2Zr-1Mo-1V) is a near-alpha titanium alloy widely used in Chinese aerospace for high-temperature structural parts — engine casings, airframe components and welded assemblies serviceable up to 500°C. It offers good weldability, thermal stability and higher elevated-temperature strength than Ti-6Al-4V. For AM, TA15 is printed on EBM and LPBF systems; published as-built properties are comparable to Ti64 with better high-temperature retention. Gas-atomized powder in 15-53 µm and 45-106 µm cuts is typical. Buyers should verify aluminum 5.5-7%, zirconium 1.5-2.5%, molybdenum 0.5-2% and vanadium 0.8-2.5% on the mill certificate.
