Jiangsu Mengda New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. has launched the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for its 'Annual Output of 6,500 Tons of Metal Powder Project' in Nantong, Jiangsu Province. As a high-tech enterprise focusing on new energy materials and metal powders, its parent company's 'Mengda' brand metal powders are widely used in cemented carbide, powder metallurgy (PM/MIM), electronic components, diamond tools, and new energy sectors. The company has recently filed several 3D printing-related patents, including 'A Mixing Device Based on Metal Powder 3D Printing' and 'A Processing Device for Improving Sphericity of 3D Printing Metal Powders.' The project will further expand China's metal powder production capacity, supporting upstream material supply for additive manufacturing.
