Jin Hong Tai Technology Plans 200 Million Yuan Investment in Metal Powder Injection Molding Precision Components Project
Guangdong Jin Hong Tai Technology Co., Ltd. has filed a record for a "Metal Powder Injection Molding Precision Components Project." Located in the Foshan (Yunfu) Industrial Transfer Industrial Park in Yunfu City, the project involves a total investment of 200 million yuan, covering approximately 48 mu (about 3.2 hectares) with a total building area of 24,000 square meters. It will be constructed in two phases: the first phase, with a building area of about 15,000 square meters, includes workshops, warehouses, an office building, and dormitory buildings. Once fully operational, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 200 million yuan. The construction period runs from October 2026 to October 2028. Metal Powder Injection Molding (MIM) is a key downstream application in the metal powder industry, and this project will further expand the production capacity of domestic MIM precision components.

GEFERTEC Launches WAAM System Designed for Titanium Alloys
GEFERTEC, a German provider of Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) technology, has introduced the new arcTitan system, specifically developed for processing titanium alloys. The system combines a fully sealed inert gas environment with a plasma WAAM process, maintaining oxygen levels between 10-15 ppm in the build chamber for stable, repeatable process control. All related system components—from gas management and sensor technology to wire feeding and process parameter control—are tailored to the specific requirements of titanium alloys. The standard build size is 2000 × 700 × 1000 mm, with a maximum deposition rate of 3 kg/h, and customization is available based on customer needs. GEFERTEC states that the biggest challenge in titanium additive manufacturing is ensuring repeatable process conditions, and the arcTitan's build chamber, welding process, and auxiliary equipment are all designed specifically for this material. The system targets enterprises in the aerospace and energy sectors.

Lihong-2 Reusable Launch Vehicle to Complete First Flight and 100 km Recovery Verification by 2026
The Lihong-2 reusable launch vehicle, developed by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), has completed its design phase and entered full-scale engineering development. It is scheduled to complete its first flight and 100 km recovery verification by 2026. The vehicle consists of a booster rocket and a payload module, serving as a key technology verification platform for rocket recovery and reuse, as well as a microgravity experiment platform. The first flight will carry multiple experimental payloads: a space pharmaceutical payload (fully automated space protein crystallization device focused on drug development for major diseases such as lung cancer and cardiovascular conditions), an unattended robot (to verify operational stability in microgravity and high-vacuum environments), and wearable monitoring equipment for space tourism. The main propulsion system is the self-developed Liqin-1 pintle-type liquid oxygen/kerosene engine, which enables deep continuous thrust throttling from 40% to 100% with a thrust adjustment precision of 1%. CASIC is also developing the Lihong-3 reusable orbital spacecraft, with its first flight planned for 2028.
