World's Largest 3D Printing Manufacturing Hub to Be Built in Shenzhen
Shenzhen Zhuhe Technology, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bambu Lab, has won the bid for the A609-0275 land parcel in Yutang Subdistrict, Guangming District, for 141.2 million yuan, to build a '3D Printing Smart Manufacturing Headquarters Project.' The project covers a total land area of approximately 83,700 square meters (about 125 mu), with a gross floor area of around 373,000 square meters. It plans to construct high-standard production facilities, supporting office and living spaces, with production facilities accounting for 75.3% of the total area. The project will focus on R&D and production of core 3D printing components, trial production of printing materials, and complete machine manufacturing, with an annual production capacity exceeding 3 million 3D printers. In February this year, Guangming District signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Bambu Lab, and the process from signing to land transfer completion took only four months. Once operational, the project is expected to achieve an average annual output value of no less than 4.5 billion yuan and is poised to become one of the world's largest 3D printing manufacturing hubs.

Beijing Robotics Industry Park (Changping) Opens, Completing ‘South for Mass Production, North for R&D’ Landscape
On July 6, the Beijing Robotics Industry Park (Changping) officially opened, completing the city's 'south-north' robotics industry layout — with Yizhuang in the south focusing on mass production and Changping in the north emphasizing integrated R&D and production. The park has a total building area of over 300,000 square meters, with the first phase accounting for approximately 65,000 square meters. The facilities are custom-designed for robotics companies: maximum floor height of 6 meters, floor load capacity of 2 tons per square meter, and column spacing of 8.4 meters. On opening day, 13 companies had already moved in or expressed intent, with signed areas totaling nearly 38,000 square meters, over 60% of available space. LingXin Smart Hands has started building an intelligent production line for consumer-grade dexterous hands, planning to deploy over 140 high-precision CNC machines with machining accuracy of 0.5–1 micron, targeting an annual output of 60,000–100,000 dexterous hands by 2028. The park has also launched 17 public service platforms, including the CCID National Robot Testing and Evaluation Center and the Tsinghua University Electronic Intelligent Systems Testing Platform. Companies in the park are exploring a closed-loop ecosystem where 'robots build themselves.'

AAMC2026 – 6th Aerospace Additive Manufacturing Conference, October in Shanghai
The 6th Aerospace Additive Manufacturing Conference (AAMC2026) will take place on October 22–23, 2026, in Shanghai, China. Under the theme 'From Verification to Mass Production – Enabling Large-Scale Applications', the event will feature 800+ attendees, 50+ speakers, 50+ exhibitors, and 50+ collaboration projects. Co-hosted by leading organizations including China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine Co., Ltd., and the Shanghai Additive Manufacturing Association, the conference covers six key tracks: commercial space and rocket AM, low-altitude economy and eVTOL AM, space manufacturing and in-orbit/deep-space AM, AI+digital twin and end-to-end intelligent manufacturing, advanced laser manufacturing technologies and applications, and cross-industry integration of AM. The exhibition spans the full AM supply chain—from 3D printing services, high-end equipment, and metal powders to laser systems, software, and inspection solutions. Special activities include industry needs releases, cooperation signing ceremonies, best paper awards, project pitches, and matchmaking sessions. Registration fees: RMB 3,800 for industry participants; RMB 2,500 for research institutes and universities; free for eligible entities from CASC, AVIC, COMAC, AECC, and others. Members of the Shanghai Additive Manufacturing Association receive a RMB 500 discount, with group purchase offers available.
