Dongan Power, in collaboration with AVL, has successfully ignited China’s first dual-rotor turbocharged engine, the R10TE, in Harbin. Built on the R05E single-rotor platform, the 1.0L dual-rotor turbo engine achieves a power-to-weight ratio exceeding 1.8, delivering over 120 kW at 5500 rpm. It inherits mature R05E technologies (e.g., dual independent ignition, precision sand-cast rotors) while introducing innovations such as an 11.5 high compression ratio, dual-channel turbocharger, carbon fiber reed valve, and advanced composite sealing system. Designed for aerial vehicles, it features a dry sump and multi-stage oil pump to ensure stable power output during hover, tilt, and complex maneuvers. Over 70 rotary engine patents (including 30+ invention patents) have been filed, with mass production targeted for 2028. Dongan Power is in deep discussions with XPeng AeroHT, Changan Flying Car, DJI, and Harbin Aircraft. The company plans to expand its full-spectrum rotary engine, hybrid transmission, and range-extender motor/controller series, offering integrated aviation hybrid powertrain solutions and targeting medium-to-high altitude UAV applications.
