Professor Rao Yu from Shanghai Jiao Tong University demonstrated the potential of additive structure design to enhance equipment energy efficiency, while Professor Huang Ke from Sichuan University presented cases of AI empowering the entire R&D chain of additive manufacturing. The forum also highlighted industrial application cases from group subsidiaries such as Shanghai Power Station Auxiliary Equipment Plant and Shanghai Turbine Plant, discussing the development of compact heat exchangers, 3D printing of hollow stationary blades for steam turbines, and AI-based process monitoring in additive manufacturing. The forum outlined an industry direction characterized by 'improving equipment performance through structural design innovation, empowering the entire R&D chain with AI, and promoting large-scale production via digital twins.'
