Lyten has introduced two high-performance materials based on its 3D Graphene platform, targeting 3D printing and structural bonding applications. The PA1205 3D printing filament, using PA12 as a matrix with 3D graphene reinforcement, achieves approximately 100% higher X/Y-axis strength, 43% higher Z-axis strength, and about 500% higher impact strength compared to PA12-CF, while being compatible with standard industrial printers. The other product, 6120HT high-temperature epoxy structural adhesive, offers a bonding strength of 6,000 psi and a glass transition temperature of around 120°C, enabling components to be 90% lighter than metal fasteners. Both products aim to replace traditional machined composites and metal parts, enabling lighter and thinner structural designs, and have already been adopted in Lyten Motorsports' INDYCAR racing projects. This marks a significant breakthrough in graphene-reinforced materials for additive manufacturing, providing a new pathway for lightweighting and high performance in high-end industries such as aerospace and defense.
