Eplus3D has officially launched an ultra-large format powder bed metal fusion additive manufacturing equipment project, marking a key step for domestic metal 3D printing equipment toward larger sizes and higher efficiency. The project focuses on ultra-large build area technology to overcome existing bottlenecks in print size and production efficiency, meeting the direct manufacturing needs for large, complex metal components in high-end manufacturing sectors such as aerospace and energy. As a critical application direction for metal powder bed fusion technology, ultra-large equipment will significantly enhance single-batch productivity and reduce overall manufacturing costs. This move not only strengthens China's independent innovation capabilities in the metal additive manufacturing equipment sector but also drives the large-scale application of high-flowability, high-sphericity metal powder materials, positively promoting the entire metal powder industry chain toward high-performance and customized development.
