Canadian metal powder producer Tekna announced its fiscal Q1 2026 results, with revenue increasing 19% year-over-year to CAD 10 million and marking its third straight profitable quarter. Growth was primarily driven by the materials business, as core aerospace and defense customers continued to scale up order sizes. Material orders reached CAD 7.4 million, while system orders rose to CAD 1.8 million from CAD 0.2 million in the same period last year. During the quarter, Tekna added two new medical customers and reported significantly higher monthly consumption volumes from two Tier 1 aerospace and defense clients. The company believes that supply chain reshoring and localized manufacturing trends will sustain demand for its materials and maintains its target of double-digit annual revenue growth through 2030.
