The 2026 Symposium on Tungsten-Based New Material Technology and Application will be held from May 22 to 24 in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, co-organized by Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, Hefei University of Technology, and University of Science and Technology Beijing. The symposium focuses on the core industrial chain of tungsten-based new materials, from powder preparation to high-end applications, featuring five sub-forums. Sub-forum 4, 'Refractory Metal Additive Manufacturing and Digitalization,' will discuss key topics such as preparation of spherical tungsten-based powders for 3D printing, development of additively manufactured tungsten alloy structural components, AI-driven sintering process simulation, and digital twin technologies. Sub-forum 3 centers on tungsten-based high-density alloys and new energy applications, with a focus on emerging uses in controlled nuclear fusion reactors and new energy vehicles. This symposium aims to provide a platform for academic and industrial collaboration to advance breakthroughs in additive manufacturing applications of tungsten-based materials.
