The Phase I project of Hualiu Alloy Powder New Materials in Wangcheng Economic Development Zone, Changsha, has completed its main structure topping-out and is now in the exterior wall masonry and interior finishing stage, with full-scale production expected in August 2026. The project occupies approximately 54 mu (3.6 hectares) and plans to build a production line for 25,000 tons of gas-atomized alloy powder annually, potentially achieving an annual output value exceeding 600 million yuan upon reaching full capacity. With an investment of nearly 200 million yuan, the project will include a new five-story R&D building and recruit about 40 high-level talents, focusing on six core research directions including magnetic material development and 3D printing. Hualiu New Materials is a pioneer in domestic gas-atomized powder production, having built China's first independently developed gas-atomized powder production line in 2004. Its products are now exported to markets including the US, Germany, Japan, and South Korea, with a current annual production capacity exceeding 10,000 tons.
