The 2026 Industrial Valve Summit is set to take place from May 19 to 21 at the Bergamo Exhibition Center in Italy. This edition will achieve a record scale, featuring 416 exhibitors (up 30% from 2024), including nearly 100 international companies from 20 countries, across four halls totaling 21,400 square meters, with the event extended to three days for the first time. The scientific program has grown by 30%, comprising 68 sessions and six thematic areas. Notably, additive manufacturing has been formally added alongside artificial intelligence, digital technologies, advanced sealing solutions, and materials for harsh operating conditions. The valve industry's stringent requirements—high pressure, corrosive environments, extreme temperatures, and strict regulations—make it an ideal application for additive manufacturing, leveraging design freedom, part consolidation, and high-performance alloy processing. Italy accounts for approximately 38% of Europe's total valve production, with industry output exceeding €3 billion and employing over 10,000 people, making it a key European industrial cluster.
