GoEngineer, a U.S.-based engineering solutions company, has acquired SKA, the largest SOLIDWORKS distributor in Latin America. Following the acquisition, SKA will operate as a GoEngineer subsidiary, offering services in manufacturing software, shop floor technology, automation, and product development. Founded in 1989 and headquartered in São Leopoldo, Brazil, SKA serves clients in manufacturing, aerospace, medical, and industrial sectors with capabilities in MES systems, machining automation, sheet metal, additive manufacturing, and engineering workflow integration. GoEngineer, founded in 1984 and headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, is the largest full-service engineering solutions provider globally, integrating hardware and software from over 12 leading technology vendors, including Dassault Systèmes, Stratasys, and BLT. This acquisition follows GoEngineer's 2025 entry into Canada and marks its first foray into Latin America and the Southern Hemisphere. GoEngineer's CEO stated that the company's 40-plus years of certified expertise, training systems, and additive manufacturing capabilities will be introduced to the Brazilian and Latin American markets. SKA's CEO emphasized that the partnership will not change the team, culture, or commitment to Brazil's industrial development but will accelerate delivery and customer value creation. This move signifies a key step in GoEngineer's transformation into a global end-to-end engineering solutions partner.
