Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province, held a future industry (additive manufacturing) promotion and industrial application exchange meeting in Shenzhen. Pingxiang Party Secretary Yu Zhengkun stated that the city prioritizes additive manufacturing as the top of its four future industries, offering policy support in park establishment, supply chain development, R&D, and application scenarios. Leveraging a century of industrial heritage, Pingxiang has built platforms such as the Xiang-Jiang Border New Materials Modern Industrial Research Institute and specialized facilities like zero-carbon parks and ceramic new materials industrial parks to support project implementation and technology commercialization. Yang Yongqiang, President of the Guangdong Additive Manufacturing Association, noted that additive manufacturing, as a technology-driven sector, is entering a period of rapid market growth and is expected to achieve greater breakthroughs in financial investment, new product development, and large-scale application.
