Phase I of the headquarters project for Rongsu Technology's multi-laser additive manufacturing global service base has been completed in Suzhou High-Tech Zone, with all supporting workshop engineering finished and industrialized production proceeding in an orderly manner. The project covers 15,000 square meters of R&D space and integrates high-end equipment development, intelligent manufacturing production, and headquarters offices; Phase II construction is being accelerated. The base has introduced multi-laser DED (directed energy deposition) equipment, along with a digital simulation monitoring system and an intelligent quality control platform, targeting large-format metal additive manufacturing scenarios and advancing the scaled mass production of high-end metal additive equipment and special metal components. Founded in 2020, Rongsu Technology independently develops laser wire-feed additive manufacturing equipment and wire-arc additive manufacturing equipment, and has mastered multi-laser coaxial wire-feed technology. Its products are used in aerospace, shipbuilding, nuclear and hydropower, construction machinery, and other fields. In August this year, the company completed an A+ round of financing worth nearly 100 million yuan and established a new brand to enter the consumer-grade metal 3D printing market. In terms of process routes, the base's core equipment consists of laser wire-feed and wire-arc additive manufacturing systems, which involve additive forming of metal wire. This differs from metal powder additive manufacturing in raw material form and feeding method; the news does not mention any involvement by the base in metal powder procurement or powder-bed processes.
