Israeli 3D printing company XJet has appointed 3D-Werk as its value-added reseller (VAR) for the Carmel series systems in Germany. The agreement covers the full Carmel product line, including configuration, application development, workflow guidance, training, and ongoing support. 3D-Werk, with over 20 years of experience in industrial additive manufacturing, operates an experience center in southern Germany where customers can evaluate the technology under real-world conditions before purchase, with services spanning from prototyping to mass production. The CEO of 3D-Werk noted that XJet's NPJ technology opens pathways to manufacturing complex high-performance ceramic and metal parts that were previously unattainable. XJet will attend 3D-Werk's NEXT3D annual technology summit on June 9-10 as a platinum sponsor, alongside existing customer CeramTec, a leading advanced ceramics manufacturer, to showcase ceramic additive manufacturing applications. XJet's Chief Commercial Officer described this collaboration as a strategic partnership rather than a simple distribution agreement.
