The Second World Humanoid Robot Games will be held from August 22–26, 2026, at the Beijing National Speed Skating Oval, featuring 50 events divided into 29 competition-based events and 21 scenario-based events. A key highlight is the focus on robots' real-world 'working abilities,' with 21 scenarios simulating daily life environments such as factories, hotels, libraries, and retail stores. For the first time, 8 'dexterous hand' specialized events will test millimeter-level micromanipulation. Lightweight metal materials such as magnesium alloys and aluminum alloys are a major area of interest, with demand for high-strength, lightweight metal powders (titanium alloys, magnesium alloys, aluminum alloys) rapidly growing for 3D printing of robot skeletons, joint housings, and other structural components.
