On August 7, 2026, Changzhou Yili Additive Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. released the full environmental impact report for its "High-Performance Spherical 3D Printing Material Production and R&D Project." Located in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, the project will feature four plasma atomization (PA) lines—three dedicated to production of 3D printing materials and one for R&D of iron-based wear-resistant alloy powders. Plasma atomization is a core process for producing high-end spherical metal powders, particularly suited for reactive/refractory metals such as titanium alloys and superalloys.
