On June 15, CAS Space's Lijian-1 (Yao-14) carrier rocket successfully launched 8 satellites, including the 'Cultural Relic 01 Star' high-resolution optical remote sensing satellites, from the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Pilot Zone, precisely placing them into preset orbits. This marks the third launch of Lijian-1 in Q2 2026, achieving a monthly launch cadence. As the only domestic private commercial rocket model to have launched over 100 satellites (cumulative total of 105), Lijian-1 has delivered a total payload mass exceeding 15 tonnes, firmly leading the market share in China's private commercial launch service sector. CAS Space has revolutionized traditional rocket development by adopting an 'assembly-like-building-blocks' manufacturing approach, significantly reducing launch costs and shortening development cycles. The high-frequency commercial launches continue to drive batch demand for aerospace-grade metal powders such as nickel-based superalloys and titanium alloys.
