Freemelt, a Swedish 3D printing equipment manufacturer, has received an additional order from its strategic partner, Jiuli New Material, for an industrial-grade eMELT electron beam powder bed fusion system. The system is scheduled for delivery in Q3 2026, with the order value in line with previously communicated pricing. The two companies signed a strategic cooperation agreement in 2025, enabling Freemelt to leverage local support, technical expertise, and business networks. The new order will focus on application development in China's energy and medical technology sectors. Freemelt's CEO commented, 'This order confirms the value of our technology and allows us to further position ourselves in one of the most expansive and competitive metal additive markets globally.' The eMELT system, based on electron beam powder bed fusion technology, melts metal powder layer by layer in a vacuum environment, making it particularly suitable for processing materials such as titanium, copper, and tungsten.
