CNPC POWDER has announced that its metal powder factory in California, USA, has entered the full construction phase. The facility spans approximately 5,500 square meters and plans to install 4-6 automated atomization production lines covering mainstream metal powders such as aluminum-based, nickel-based, iron-based, and titanium-based alloys. The first production lines are expected to commence operations in the first quarter of 2027. This milestone establishes a dual-core production system for CNPC POWDER in China and North America, aiming to localize the additive manufacturing supply chain in the region. The new factory will adopt advanced production technology and strict quality management systems, incorporating a metal powder closed-loop recycling system to realize a green manufacturing model of 'waste → powder reclamation → 3D printing → recycling and reuse.' As the exclusive licensed manufacturer in Asia for APWORKS' Scalmalloy® high-performance aluminum alloy powder, CNPC POWDER will leverage its localized production advantages to provide North American customers in aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, and other sectors with cost-effective and responsive material solutions.
