On September 28, AVIMETAL's Metal Additive Manufacturing Industrial Park (located in Jiangsu Xuzhou Airport Economic Development Zone) officially commenced operations for its Phase III project. Construction of the industrial park began in 2020, covering over 300 mu with a planned building area of 200,000 square meters. With Phase III operational, the total operational area has reached 100,000 square meters. Phase III expands titanium alloy and superalloy powder capacity by 2,000 tons, adds over 20 powder production lines, and simultaneously advances the industrialization of titanium alloy scrap recycling. The 3D printing equipment production line has been integrated into the park, achieving an annual capacity of 300 units. More than 10 equipment models have entered installation, commissioning, and print validation, with a maximum build size of 1,500 mm, covering multi-laser systems. Phase III completes the integrated layout of the two major businesses—materials and equipment—forming a full industry chain integration of metal powders, 3D printing equipment, atomization furnaces, and application services. The company is advancing toward the goal of 10,000 tons of metal powder and 1,000 printing units annually, serving sectors such as aerospace, consumer electronics, automotive, new energy, biomedical, and embodied robotics. Value for powder buyers: ① AVIMETAL's titanium alloy/superalloy powder capacity has reached a new level, adding domestic supply options for mainstream powder grades such as TC4 and GH4169; ② The in-house atomization furnace capability and powder-equipment synergy may bring opportunities for powder process adaptation services and joint validation; ③ Attention should be paid to the ramp-up pace of the Xuzhou base's capacity and the long-term impact of titanium scrap recycling on raw material costs.
