Jiangsu Global Laser Box Digital Technology (Global Laser Box) announced on its official WeChat account on September 17 that it has completed a Series A funding round of nearly RMB 200 million, co-invested by Qifu Capital, Changxing Investment, and Chuangshiji Investment. The round saw participation from leading market-oriented investment institutions, government-guided funds, and industrial capital, with the funding scale exceeding expectations. The proceeds will be directed toward R&D of core SLM equipment, development of an AI additive manufacturing software ecosystem, production line capacity expansion, and global market promotion. The company specializes in industrial-grade SLM equipment for sectors including the low-altitude economy, energy storage, consumer electronics, mold models, commercial aerospace, medical, and automation. It has developed the full chain of core components in-house, including lasers, control systems, and supporting software. Its products have been sold to over 60 countries. On the consumer side, the company launched the world's first desktop-grade AI metal 3D printer in June 2026 (already ready for mass production and delivery), accompanied by its self-developed IronNova mobile app (AI model repair/cloud slicing/one-click printing), targeting individual creators, small studios, and print farms. The company operates five major industrial bases in Yancheng (Jiangsu), Huzhou (Zhejiang), Changsha/Changde (Hunan), and Shenzhen (Guangdong). The ramp-up of consumer-grade desktop metal printers will drive demand for small-specification, safely packaged, and retail-channel stainless steel and other powders. The simultaneous expansion of both industrial and consumer lines will also boost powder parameter validation and consumable procurement. Powder manufacturers can track the commissioning pace of its new factories and material certification windows.
