According to information from the China National Intellectual Property Administration, BLT (Bright Laser Technologies) has filed a patent titled 'Ti-6Al-4V-0.25Si titanium alloy powder for additive manufacturing, its preparation method, and titanium alloy parts.' The powder composition, by mass percentage, includes 5.5–6.75% Al, 3.5–4.5% V, and 0.1–0.5% Si. By adding a trace amount of silicon to the traditional Ti-6Al-4V composition, the patent aims to optimize high-temperature performance and printability for additive manufacturing. BLT reported an operating revenue of RMB 1.852 billion in 2025, with 3D printing raw materials contributing RMB 113 million. This patent represents BLT's strategic expansion from an equipment leader to an integrated 'equipment + materials' provider, further enriching its titanium alloy powder product line.
