ASX-listed American metal powder manufacturer Amaero has completed commissioning of its third EIGA Premium atomizer ahead of schedule at its flagship Tennessee facility, bringing total capacity to approximately 480 tons/year of titanium alloy powder and 200 tons/year of refractory alloy powder. This makes it the largest domestic U.S. producer of spherical refractory and titanium alloy powders. The company has completed its three-year, AUD 72 million capital investment plan. Following a safety incident in May, Amaero suspended titanium powder production for a comprehensive safety review, with production expected to resume in July. Installation of the argon gas recovery plant remains on track for commissioning in Q1 2027, and the fourth EIGA atomizer is still scheduled for commissioning in June 2027. The company has finalized its relocation to the U.S., paving the way for a potential IPO in the U.S. by late 2026 or early 2027.
