The environmental assessment for the additive manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing center construction project of China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology Group Zhengzhou Research Institute Co., Ltd. has been approved. Located in Zhengzhou High-tech Zone, the project involves a total investment of 50 million yuan. Its primary products include 150 tons/year of TC4 titanium alloy powder and 4,500 parts/year (approximately 30 tons) of additive manufactured components, covering aerospace critical parts such as engine bodies, turbo pumps, thrust chambers, and satellite brackets. Materials involved encompass superalloys, stainless steel, titanium alloys, and aluminum alloys. Once completed, the project will establish a full-process production capability from metal powder preparation to high-end part printing, providing technical support for fields such as aerospace, biomedical, and mold manufacturing.
