The environmental impact assessment document for commercial space company Deep Blue Aerospace's "Liquid Rocket Engine Additive Manufacturing Base Project" has been open for public review in Tai'an, Shandong, starting October 9 (public notice period: October 9–14, 2026). The project is a liquid rocket engine additive manufacturing base and will cluster in the same city with the rocket engine core component project of the wholly-owned subsidiary of Youluoka (300099.SZ) in Tai'an, positioning Tai'an as a regional hub for commercial space engine additive manufacturing. Value for powder buyers: the establishment of this rocket engine additive manufacturing base will create localized demand for high-temperature alloy, titanium alloy, and copper alloy powders. Buyers should monitor its subsequent equipment procurement and material certification activities.
