On October 8, Suqian High-tech Zone published a public notice of its proposed approval opinion on the environmental impact assessment document of Jiangsu Feihang New Materials Equipment Co., Ltd.'s 'Project with Annual Output of 10,000 Heat-Corrosion-Resistant Directionally Solidified Superalloy Products'. Directionally solidified superalloys are key materials for hot-end components of gas turbines and aero engines. The heat-corrosion-resistant grades are intended for long-life hot-end service conditions. Once the project is put into operation, it will strengthen the production capacity for precision superalloy parts in the Yangtze River Delta. Value for powder buyers: the expansion of production capacity for directionally solidified superalloy parts will drive procurement demand for upstream superalloy master materials and powder raw materials; attention may be paid to its raw material supply system and technical transformation procurement needs.
