Shenzhen Gongda Laser recently completed a Series C strategic funding round worth hundreds of millions of RMB, co-led by Fortune Capital and Guanghe Venture Capital, with participation from multiple industrial investors. The company is the first globally to achieve a 4kW quasi-single-mode continuous-wave green laser. Its subsidiary, Xihe Additive Manufacturing, specializes in metal 3D printing of copper-based materials, with over one hundred green laser 3D printing systems already in operation. Over the next three years, Xihe plans to deploy a thousand-unit fleet, aiming to become the world's largest production base for copper-based additive manufacturing. This round of funding will accelerate the industrial deployment of green lasers and 3D printing in areas such as AI computing, optical communications, and commercial aerospace. Gongda Laser is also advancing its global strategy, expanding into overseas markets and enhancing localized service capabilities.
