On November 2, 2026, the Construction Approval Division of the Xuyi County Government Services Management Office in Huai'an City publicized the processing result for the project of BGRIMM Advanced Materials (Jiangsu) Technology Co., Ltd. entitled "Annual Production of 2 Million Square Meters of Electrodes for Electrolytic Hydrogen Production, 15,000 3D-Printed Products, and 7,500 Tonnes of Special Powders." The filing approval document number is Xushenpi Bei [2026] No. 955, and the project is located in the Ninghuai Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Xuyi County. The project is being built in two phases: Phase I, at approximately RMB 989 million, will build production lines for 2 million square meters per year of electrodes for electrolytic hydrogen production and 7,500 tonnes per year of special powders, and is planned to be equipped with about 350 sets of equipment including atomization powder-making units; Phase II, at approximately RMB 2.071 billion, will build a production line for 15,000 3D-printed products per year, supported by about 180 sets of equipment including atomization powder-making equipment, laser cladding equipment, and 3D printers. The project was previously approved for construction under Xushenpi Bei [2026] No. 679. China Light Industry Changsha Engineering Co., Ltd. won the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract with a bid of RMB 663 million (October 14, 2026), and Huai'an Mingze Fangzheng Engineering Supervision Co., Ltd. won the supervision contract with a bid of RMB 3.9888 million (October 19). Once operational, the project will become one of the largest integrated special powder and additive manufacturing bases by single-site scale in northern Jiangsu, with the two downstream sectors of electrolytic hydrogen production electrodes and metal 3D printing creating stable demand for powder raw materials.
