Recently, the Powder Metallurgy and Special Forming Pilot Platform, jointly established by the Wuhan University of Technology Chongqing Research Institute and Chongqing Liangjiang Mingyue Lake High-Tech Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd., has launched round-the-clock order-taking for enterprises across the city and is now officially in operation. The platform is located in Building 14, Phase V Innovation Space, Collaborative Innovation Zone, Liangjiang New Area. Chongqing Liangjiang Mingyue Lake High-Tech Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd. provides the site, the Wuhan University of Technology Chongqing Research Institute provides the equipment, and Huayan High-Tech Materials (Chongqing) Co., Ltd., an enterprise incubated by the research institute, is responsible for management and operations. The platform's workshop covers 500 square meters and is equipped with full-process composite material development equipment, including high-temperature gas-pressure sintering furnaces, as well as experimental and testing instruments. Two pilot production lines have been completed and put into use. The platform can provide comprehensive services such as composite material design, batch product preparation, performance simulation, and testing. It has already carried out development and trial production of products including injection-molded metal-ceramic micro gears, metal injection molding and additive manufacturing components, and ceramic-based composite conductive materials, with application scenarios covering robotics, low-altitude aircraft, medical devices, automotive parts, and home appliances. During the trial operation period, the platform has provided pilot testing and preparation technical support to nearly 10 university research teams and enterprises, including Wuhan University of Technology, Hubei University of Technology, Chongqing Jianshe Haofang Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Chongqing Guoshi Hongshen Company, and Sichuan Dexinrui Precision Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The platform combines the research institute's R&D capabilities, the incubated enterprise's operating mechanisms, and local enterprises' production scenarios. It takes orders around the clock from enterprises across the city and serves the pilot testing and new product trial production needs of Chongqing's robotics, automotive parts, low-altitude economy, and other industries. Enterprises with needs for powder metallurgy and additive manufacturing pilot verification can contact the platform directly.
