AM-Europe, operated by CECIMO, appointed its inaugural Steering Committee at its first plenary meeting, with members drawn from leading national industry associations across Europe: ADDIMAT (Spain), UCIMU (Italy), Metaltechnology Austria (Austria), AMUK (UK), SWISSMEM (Switzerland), among others. AM-Europe was officially launched in June 2026 and is positioned as a platform for collaboration, industry representation, and policy engagement for additive manufacturing in Europe. For the metal powder industry: the advancement of a unified European AM industry platform toward industrialization will accelerate the development of policy and standards influence for metal additive manufacturing (including the powder supply chain) in Europe, and its downstream impact on metal powder demand warrants attention.
