Hunan Tianhai Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd. held a launch event on October 28 at the Xiangtan High-tech Zone to officially introduce its TH-115 and TH-350 metal additive manufacturing systems. The TH-115 is positioned as a compact model, while the TH-350 targets industrial-grade general-purpose applications. Both systems were developed in-house by the company, covering mechanical design, precision machining, assembly, and control and slicing software development. The TH-115 uses laser powder bed fusion (PBF-LB) and features a build cylinder of 115 x 115 x 115 mm with a 300 W laser, targeting applications such as aerospace components, dental, jewelry, and biomedical implants. The TH-350 has a build cylinder of 360 x 360 x 398 mm and a 500 W laser, with target applications spanning consumer electronics, aerospace, medical devices, and automotive precision parts. In addition, the company's existing THZN-J600 model offers a build cylinder of 630 x 630 x 630 mm and integrates four 500 W lasers, and is explicitly suited to processing titanium alloys, aluminum alloys, superalloys, stainless steel, and tool steel. The titanium alloys, aluminum alloys, superalloys, stainless steel, and tool steel listed for the THZN-J600 are all metal powder material systems used directly in the laser powder bed fusion process, consistent with the PBF-LB process route of the two new systems.
