At the opening ceremony of the Beijing Graphene Forum 2026, Zhengxi Metal, incubated by the BGI Group, was officially unveiled and signed an agreement with CAS Star, announcing the completion of a RMB 20 million angel funding round. Zhengxi Metal has pioneered an integrated atomization-CVD preparation technology that grows a graphene skin in situ on the surface of metal powder, achieving uniform dispersion of graphene within the metal bulk. Measured results show that the graphene-coated copper bulk material comprehensively surpasses the limitations of traditional copper in electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and tensile strength. The material has been included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Guiding Catalog for Key Development of Frontier Materials Industrialization."
